Where did our original Seasoned Carnivore Crackle go?

Our Seasoned Carnivore Crackle is a seasonal-only product due to being so close to homemade and having zero preservatives.  Unfortunately, it is too temperature sensitive to ship in the warmer months.  It will definitely be back again around March/April each year.  It’s season ends around October/November each year.  In the meantime, enjoy our light, airy and crunchy Summer edition!

What's the difference between our crackles?

Not to be confused with our rustic, salty, crunchy, like-homemade Seasoned CARNIVORE CRACKLE, our Summer CARNIVORE CRACKLE is light and airy, with enough crunch to satisfy your cravings !  It’s the perfect protein-packed Summer snack, without being dense, making it effortless to eat in the heat.  Our Summer edition is in a distinctive white bag and our little piggy is sporting some sunnies to prevent any confusion with our original crackle (black bags).

Where are you shipping?

Unlike our original crackle, we will be shipping our Summer CARNIVORE CRACKLE Australia-wide, year round !

Please also ensure you’re available to accept delivery of it so that it doesn’t sit in the hot sun at your front door in the warmer months.  Make your best judgement prior to ordering (avoid any heatwaves, excessively humid conditions, any known shipping delay events etc) as we cannot be held responsible for it once it has left our possession.

We unfortunately can’t control the freight process and any delays in shipping (such as those from fires or flooding) are unpredictable, outside our control and not at our risk.

We will only ship to a PO Box at your own risk.  We REALLY want you to receive it in optimum condition so that you can truly taste the carni-goodness that is our Summer CARNIVORE CRACKLE !

The majority of our crackle is shipped via Australia Post.  As such, all Australia Post procedures must be followed by both us and yourself.  By ordering, you agree to these terms.  Any damage to parcels and/or products caused by Australia Post must be remedied in accordance with their procedures, or other shipping provider procedures, as may be used from time-to-time.  In the unfortunate event this occurs, we will work with you.  Please keep all packaging intact and ensure you take some photos.

What is the shelf life?

Our Summer CARNIVORE CRACKLE has a much longer shelf life of 5 months from the date of bake.  This means we will likely be able to stock it (unless it sells out like our original crackle did this year).  It may be an in-stock or backorder-only product (our website will indicate).  Please contact in advance of ordering if you need to know the exact Best Before date as in-stock bags may be less.  We advise doing this especially in advance of any bulk crackle orders.

What are the storage requirements?

Unlike our original crackle, our Summer CARNIVORE CRACKLE does not need to be stored in a refrigerator after opening.  We advise a cool, dark place.  Whilst we have stayed true to our carni-values of low ingredients (just 2) with our Summer CARNIVORE CRACKLE, it is still of animal origin.  It’s not advised to leave it sitting in a hot car in the heat of Summer.

Can I pick it up?

Yes, if you’d like to save on shipping costs, you can take advantage of our FREE warehouse pickup in Midvale (all products) or FREE pick up in Wattle Grove (Carnivore Crackle Only).  Please allow 24 hours for all Midvale pick up orders.  Please allow at least a week for all Wattle Grove pick up orders.  Best to get in contact to confirm timing for Wattle Grove pickups.
