We encourage eating very simple plain cooked meats, seafoods and organs (nose to tail), as well as a small amount of egg (if tolerated). We tend to steer away from the incessant imitation of post-ag foods that you’ll typically find on gluten-free and dairy-free diets.

However, we also understand the transition between old and new lifestyles and particularly the delicate balance involved when raising young children. So, we have created some simple recipes that can help provide some fun and variety without compromising the core reasons behind carnivore (maintaining nutrient density and living simply).

The focus of these recipes is entirely on simple and easy food preparation using optimal quality, low allergen ingredients within an animal-based eating framework. The number of ingredients is kept to a minimum so as not to overwhelm the gut.

All recipes are gluten-free (coeliac friendly), dairy-free, refined sugar free, fructose free, nut free, vegetable free, onion and garlic free, herb and spice free, and seed, plant and vegetable oil free, unless otherwise noted. Some recipes contain egg.

We have also included different meats, seafood and meal ideas. Often when contemplating a carnivore lifestyle, people comment “what on earth am I going to eat?!”. Well, we’re here to show you that there is SO much variety that it’s very hard to get bored.
